Broadway at the Hobby Center Announces 2025-26 Season

Heads up, musical lovers — the Hobby Center recently announced its 2025–2026 Broadway lineup, and it’s stacked. From buzzy first national tours to the return of major fan favorites, this season is a big Broadway flex for Houston.
Kicking off in September, the Memorial Hermann Broadway at the Hobby Center series brings eight mainstage productions, six of which are making their Houston debut. Yes, that Outsiders. S.E. Hinton’s beloved novel-turned-film is now a raw, high-energy musical with a book by Adam Rapp with Justin Levine, music and lyrics by Texas’s own Jamestown Revival and Justin Levine. It just snagged Best Musical at the 2024 Tonys.
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Jan 6–18, 2026)
The enchanted castle is back, and it’s more magical than ever with revamped sets, costumes, and all the songs you know by heart. Disney’s first North American production of the beloved musical in over 25 years. This enchanting and timeless tale, filled with the romance and grandeur audiences know and love, has been brought to life like never before.
Water for Elephants (Jan 27–Feb 1, 2026)
Yes, the bestselling book is now a Broadway spectacle — complete with circus acts and emotional storytelling that’ll give you all the feels.
