Lake Travis Zipline Adventures Opens

Lake Travis Zipline Adventures (LTZA) has officially opened for the spring, summer, and fall season, offering guests the “Adventure of a Lifetime.”

Located at Adventure Island, 14529 Pocohontas Trail, Leander, TX 78641, LTZA offers a 3-hour guided adventure with five of the fastest and longest ziplines in Texas, ranging from 300 feet to more than 2,800 feet. In between gliding across beautiful canyons and soaring over Lake Travis, zipliners will take nature hikes through the Texas Hill Country with a professional tour guide.  Each adventure includes all necessary equipment, boat transportation and bottled water throughout the tour, with additional all-day access to a private lake front property where adventurers can picnic, play games, or relax in one of the hammocks.

Best of all, zipline adventures are set up for social distancing. LTZA has worked diligently to create a safe and welcoming environment, employing all health and safety guidelines set by the CDC and local officials, including:

• Limited capacity and as LTZA has always done, guests reserve exclusive time slots for zipline tours to help with crowd control. 

• Staff and Guests are required to wear a face mask at all times.

• Staff and Guests temperatures will be checked upon arrival. (Anyone with a temperature above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will NOT be allowed to participate)

• Staff and Guests are required to wash hands before and after each tour.

• Social distancing is required throughout all zipline adventures, provided the staff (masked), will momentarily assist participants (also masked), in attaching and detaching from the zipline.

• Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the course and is required before each session or entering on-site buildings.

• All equipment is sanitized between sessions. 

• Social Distancing enforced on boat transportation between parties.

Lake Travis Zipline Adventures hours of operation are Wednesday–Monday from 8:30am – 4:30pm. A 3-hour guided zipline tour is $129 plus tax. A maximum of 13 people per tour with a minimum of 4 is required. Reservations are also required. Closed-toe shoes are required, and sunscreen is recommended.
