Renaissance Returns to Waxahachie

Scarborough Renaissance Festival has begun its 39th season with a variety of exciting new shows, extraordinary new artisans and an enhanced sense of celebration and pageantry.

With new shows featuring acrobats, comedians, escape artists, and even a dragon slayer as well as new artisans offering pottery, hearth & home products, leather works, renaissance & steampunk costumes, this year’s festival will be full of pageantry, celebration and a whole lot of fun! Additionally, the cast of Scarborough (Scarborough Academy of Performing Arts) has been hard at work on changes that will portray a more historic representation of life in the re-created 16th century village.
